Directly draw the draft on the mini. It is okay for inaccurate draft. It is always good to have a draft than nothing. Then, I mixed the pink-purple and yellow.

For other part of the pants, I used the blue.

Brighter and brighter.

Later, I took the diluted red-brown to deal with the dark part of the pants.

02/13 WIP: The dressing of the upper body of the harlequin.

10947389_1623773631186177_2106947443980055680_o.jpg

In the last stage, I draw the draft of the right side body and the basic red for the left side which I dealt first on today. For the first step, I mix red and a little purple for avoiding the "pure" color. This is the basic red color I'd like to use today. Later, I got some green and mixed with the red to make it dark. The reason is that I want to have a shade without using black. Then, I painted the shade on the dark part of the mini.

Mix yellow for brighter red. Notice this! You can add white to make the color bright for sure, however, the richness of the color decreases dramatically! As we know in our experience, when we mix red and white, we will have pink, not the brighter red!

Done with the left side of the upper body. Fill the squares with green and grey-white.

Add yellow to make green brighter, just the same as the red which I did before. I paint the highlight on the edges of the squares and the bright parts of the body such as the breast and the upper hand.

I used a little brown to deal with the dark parts of the right side of the upper body to make it more natural.
