Thanks! Yeah, maybe grey wasn\'t the best choice after all. I chose it as a nice contrast for the red, but I don\'t think it\'s worked as well as I\'d hoped. Perhaps I should have done the grey bits red. :/

Heh, I wasn\'t going to do hazard stripes at all until the guy who sits next to me in work suggested it! I\'m quite pleased with them too, although in doing them I realised that masking fluid doesn\'t work very well on such small and knobbly areas. (I used some to try and weather the red housing too, but it didn\'t really work as well as I\'d like. Practice, I guess.)

Yeah, black could have worked too. If only I didn\'t hate painting it! lol

I\'d try masking fluid on something unimportant first, and preferably something you can get at! Possibly even just on a bit of paper. Otherwise, getting it off again is a right pain in the botty. I would imagine that brands differ, but I found mine needed to be applied fairly thickly, or it didn\'t rub off properly. That might have been down to the area I was doing it on, though.

Edit: Wow, I don\'t think I\'ve ever had a mini hit 50 votes so fast before! Usually it takes about three or four days!
