The little thread of happiness

Erm...you didn\'t re-invent the blues, because you were \'content\'.

You gotta have a fire in your belly and the sadness of a dusty road to play the blues....

Or, if you pluck out the odd nose hair...that pretty much does it too.

I gotta mow my lawn, but the mower is on the fritz, I try to surf on the web, just to see some T*ts.

Oh, I got the blues....

The contended white man blues....

there was a bird hovering in front of my window just staring in, actually hovering for about a minute.
but a big happiness comes from the school and stuff realising im not just not going into school because i dont want to (the last few times i went i had panic attacks), and trying to set something up for me

I had a nice day.
Spent Yesterday, by dropping Fran off at Manchester Picadilly Station to go meet up with some other BC Treatment Women, to discuss options and operations.
So I had a Free Pass to go walkabout in the town centre on my own, on a sunny day.
Ended up buying only two figures, Wow I was good, despite the temptation.(*)

But Met Tim (Freakinacage\'s) Identical Twin. Well not quite but close enough so that I actually said \"Tim?\".
Works in Aldous\' arts and crafts store
http://www.fredaldous.co.uk/. Really helpful and friendly people. Managed to get some Resin materials and they even offerred to hold them at the store for me while I did some more shopping.
To Quote Arnie: \"I\'ll be Back!\"

(* Looked at some Helldorado miniatures, problem is a lot of the packages I saw were boxes containing two or more minis. The Scaracens I was interested in I didn\'t want or would be able to Ebay the second mini (a rotting Corpse and Buzzard). Ditto the Mercenary wizard and his Golem. Still picked up a Rackham Figure at stupid price (£2.99) )

My day is ok...ish, finally decided to give up smoking, and so far I\'m feeling good!
Saying that, I might end up changing this thread into \" the little thread of maim, burn and kill! \" before long.

I\'m liking this thinking!!!:D

I\'ll start composing this, tonight, and see if I can get some friends to help lay down
the tracks before July ends.

Write more verses.

Well we\'re painting our toys,
Just we\'re just little boys.

Gonna shade my mini,
In tones you can see.

Gonna post it up high,
Til the snipers go by.

??? 15 hours now without a cigarette, I\'m not quite sure that this is making me happy at all. Why is everything that is bad for you always so good?!?

Keep thinking of it in terms of how much money you aren\'t spending on tobacco.

More money you can spend on minis, paint, brushes, etc.

I can relate. On day 3, myself.

I quit smoking about 75 pounds ago.....

If I thought I could just lit up to shed those pounds I do it it a minute. But, then I\'d just be a fat guy that smoked.

That\'s what worked for me. I took the smoke money and put it in a separate bank account. I made sure to buy something right away after the first week, so I could look at it and say to myself, I wouldn\'t have this if I still smoked.

Within 4 weeks or so I bought a Wii, again every time I take a look at it, I think I wouldn\'t have it if I still Smoked.

I quit back on Halloween last year. Since then I\'ve got more \'stuff\' then I\'ve ever had all due to not smoking.

Hang in there - it does get better.

I feel better now than I did for 10+ years of smoking... mind you, a whole year after quitting I felt like a bag of hammered sh!t.

Just remember it\'s worth it!
