Nice neat job and ace colors. The stripes are a little too clean edged. A SLIGHT blurring of the edges would make it look more like fur.

Ditto, There's something I can't quite put my finger on about it.

for me, i think it's the mouth, the teeth are a bit blunt and gummy for my liking. also the mouth is open yet the upper and lower teeth are parallel, meaning that if he closed his mouth his back teeth wouldn't be able to touch

I hate the mini but your painting it always seriously good. I agree with the caged freak.

Awesome paint.

But, I do wonder if, given it's cartoony appearance, if a very cartoony painting would work better. It'd be interesting to see if anyone tries that.
