But seriously this is a great challenge, multiple materials, lots of drilling, pinning and filing - and some unexpected sources of parts, well my bits box is 30+ years old. :D
Now where did I put that thingamewotsit that\'s going to fit on the oojamaflip...

If you post WIP\'s, there\'s no point in emailing the pictures to the referee, because the point of the challenges are anonymity. If the mini isn\'t posted anonymously, then there\'s no point to the challenge, because people will know whose it is.

id probably be able to do a wip like uber n suki, Scott, just not sure as to the pics for it. my painting style is one that looks crap all the way through, and bumps up to slightly less crap at the last second. really, its up to you, imn currently standing at about 58:42 not wip/wip if you get my crazy meaning. that mini is so bloody covered in mould lines:cussing:

Agreed to now WIPS on here then. Though I don\'t think people will vote a model up or down neccesarily just because they know who painted it.

Well let\'s see, hmm, couple of old 1/35 scale arms with open hands, now what to put in them; grenades, pistols, smg\'s...

I\'d personally like to see some (either during the challenge or when there is a victor)

i\'ll wait for your mini to arrive, and just finish another mini in time for the comp.
if yours arrives really late, we can always postpone to after my comp, or i\'l just work harder

Perahps the extension distance of the ram to the cam is too short, unable to raise to the centre of gravity?

K Mourner sounds good. I just got the GW newsletter and it says that that Gretchin will be available in 2 weeks. Is the release date different where you are? I don\'t know. I\'ll get them as soon as they come out!

I thik the problem is that it\'s a bit top-heavy at the moment, will probably end up putting some weights in the feet for stability.......... thats what you get for BIG guns!lol

I think the main thing is that my LGS isn\'t too strict with release dates, they released the AoBR-box a week early as well.

anyway, i haven\'t had a phone call yet telling me they\'ve arrived, so I\'ll just wait for now.

Its almost done-ish

still got the wing and a bit of the little flappy familiar thing to do but apart from that he\'s good.
So one more night of painting + an early start tomorrow if needed and he should be good.
Pics will be sent hopefully by latest 1pm (english time) tomorrow afternoon.

The walkers that Waghorn41 and myself are doing, are going well according to the pm\'s.... I think that Waghorn\'s is going to be really impressive.... watch this space!:D

i\'ve been round to my LGS today, seems they just mixed up some release dates, i\'ll be getting my gretchin on the 17th after all.
