The \"ow, my eyes\" color sheme

I\'m looking for colors that will make your eyes pop when put together. I\'m talking about neon green with blue with red. I\'m in need of some greatly contrasting colors.

Basically, I\'ve been looking for a different color scheme for my Slaanesh CSM army. I\'m getting a little sick of seeing identical armies, and of explaining why those cool minis are painted pink.

Marketing donuts

I took an interior design class that talked about colors being either blue tone or yellow tone. Basically there\'s a blue red (cherries) and a yellow red (tomatoes) and so on for every color. Nearly every color on one side has a corresponding color on the other side. The ones that don\'t will look hideous together.
So:
The only color not on the yellow side is Fuscia
The only color not on the blue side is orange
So Fuscia and Orange is a disturbing color combo.

Why marketing donuts? Because Fuscia and Orange is the color scheme of the Duncan Donuts logo, chosen precisely because the combination is so jarring it grabs the eye from a distance. Supposedly they tried to up their image and the consultant was fired for suggesting a more soothing color scheme.

That\'s perfectly heinous! Just thinking about it makes me ill ... lol

Ummm not sure if this helps but the first comment this mini of mine gets is \"Wow that\'s really bright.\" You can see how some of the above color combinations look tho-didn\'t realize I\'d been influenced by Dunkin Donuts!

thanks for the great tips, and by all means keep them coming.

P.S. Forgive my naive-ness, but how do you make fuscia?

You can\'t. You\'ll have to go ask for the color by name. Basically, it is magenta mixed with a bit of white, for opacity, but magenta is the one shade that cannot be produced mixing any of the other basic colors.

is there a GW paint fuschia equivalent. I prefer to use GW paint with the GW minis, as I have it readily available and I have a 20% discount on all GW products at my local store.

I may have found a particularly horrible combination (which makes me absolutely exstatic). Apparently GW Ice blue and red contrast very well (almost too well). Apparently another group that doesn\'t mix is cool and warm colors.
