The Pillar, the Bloodletter and the Terminator

Fairly pleased how this eventually panned out. I always wanted to make sure that the scene fit onto the standard Golden Demon category rules - whether or not I entered it was not the point, I hasten to add - so I found it challenging to work it out within the base size restrictions.

As a second point, whilst the piece is clearly a duel, I wanted the pillar to be seen as a \'third\' character within it (if that doesn\'t sount too poncey!). What\'s more, the pillar is a rather neutral character - it\'s clear that it\'s going to fall, but whether it\'ll fall onto the Bloodletter or the Terminator is still a moot point (my gut feeling is that I rather want it to squash the Terminator, considering he\'s just smacked the heck out of the BL!

Anyway, huge amount of thanks to everyone who\'s offered me suggestions on what to do - they\'ve been really invaluable in its creation!

Hard to say right now. I like the idea and the paint job\'s look fairly good......but the background is totally sucking the life out of the blue of the marine. Use a more neutral color....muted. That should make the blue of the marine stand out more. Need more close up\'s of the individual mini\'s.

Thanks Shawn, I seem to have an enormous amount of trouble taking montage snaps of photos - shrinking them down to the size allowable on CMON seem to really mess with the sizes, and I just cannot seem to \'lock\' the sizes properly!

EDIT:

Is this any better?

Need to find a decent tute on keeping image sizes though...

The new background really helps with the photos. I really like your idea. It\'s very unique and full of energy and motion. Paintjob is good, especially the Bloodletter.

I think the marine could use a bit more shading and highlighting. What you have is great but a little bit more contrast would help, I think.

The new background is definitely better but there is something despite the inent at movement that comes off as a bit too static. This may be due to the poses, but I can\'t be certain. If it hits me I will let you know.
