Hi! I Had quite fun making this little diorama. Or I don\'t know if you could call it a diorama, maybe something else. It gave me some few headaches a long the way, but my intention was just to relax a little and make a mini quickly. And luckily I succeded in doing that!

I am quite happy about the color scheme and I think I actually managed to make it smooth, but I am still not completely satisfied until my minis look like Cyril\'s! ;)
I think the black parts, the water, the rock and the nmm turned out nicely too.

Like Cyril\'s! now there is ambition.

However while I agree you may not be painting like cyril yet, (who is!) this is a very nice piece. I love the idea of white ink on black paper, it achieves a very striking result (that\'s one I\'m going to remember to borrow in the future ;)). The robe and skin tones are very well chosen and blended.

I do have 2 small critiques however. The darklining between his fingers looks a touch too dark. Also the feather doesn\'t look like it\'s done to the same quality as the rest of the model.

Overall I very much like the feeling of the piece, great results, especially as you\'ve said for a relaxed and quick paint job it\'s extraordinary.

Great model, Morten! The robe is a great, rich colour, and nice and smooth. The black scroll is pretty unique, and it looks really good. I think the skin is a bit understated....At first glance, it didn\'t really catch my eye, but it\'s quite smooth, and is a nice colour.

You might wanna liven up the rocks a bit more, though. Maybe put a bit of flock on them, or try washing with some subtle greens, blues, or browns.

Great piece,I got a definite feel of windswept cliffs as I scrolled down and saw the base,the wave is a nice addition! I like the overall colouring and as Eric says the black scroll idea is cool! I also darkline my fingers darkly,I find if I don\'t the seperation looks weak,maybe I should tone mine down a little,I still have a lot to learn on skintones so good pointer Eric ;) When I paint one of these I\'m going to give him ginger stubble and a number 1 haircut,the rough look! lol Cheers,great piece ;)
