I\'m guessing with the ammount of uk members wanting to get theire paws on this stuf they\'ll be sold out in no time :p

I have never used the stuff... and to be honest have no real care to either. I find Revell matt varnish does the job for me.

I also have revel. Apparently (what I\'ve heard from people that have used both), it is an inferior product. I\'d say a cheap copy, but it is more expensive (and they\'re ****ing tiny. I\'ve never managed to find a 500ml can to this day).

Lasts me quite a while and doesn\'t appear to deteriorate on the model over time (unlike the old Humbrol stuff that would go yellow!). Still... whatever works best I guess.

Yes. I think.
After living close to it for several years, I have found that a nearby model railway store has Model Master Dullcote (brush on). If I am not mistaken, that\'s the same stuff (provided I did correctly understand Testors homepage ;)). It does come in the bottle that I saw in the CMON store and I just bought one to try. It\'s 3,79€ for 50ml, by the way.

...I\'m quite happy with my Vallejo Matt Varnish

@darkart: yep, for protection, gloss varnish is harder than matt

Having used Dullcoat I would not now use anythig else, I\'ve tried many different sorts and found that to be the best. Now we can get it in the UK is great, I do have a good stock now thanks to other C\'moners but one or two more wouldn\'t hurt now would it. :D
