Ok the guy I\'m painting this mini for wants a black Templar Dread in Deathwing Colours....

Kinda happy with him for now

NMM is much better than whatever your last WIP was - and I quite like the idea of swapping colour schemes

Nice Job - although there for a minute I was trying to figure out why you were painting a short block engine.

great work. love the power plant on the back. could you please share your nmm recipe?

For the steel-like nmm:

Painted the base with VMC Luftwaffe Uniform - glazed it with VMC Burntcad Red in many thin glazes.
Then glazed deeper shadows with Dark Flesh

Glazed some spots with snakebite leather.

Painted the edges and some parts again with Luftwaffe Uniform

Slowly highlighted Luftwaffe with white with thick paint - almost no water

Finally placed some bleaks with pure white

very nicce! my favourite part is the engine block/exhaust pipes.

Still need towork on them some more - to give a smoother look for the highlights
