I have to correct myself, it wasn't my maternal grandmother that was Welsh, but my paternal one. I knew who I meant but used the wrong pronoun. The shame of it is that my sister pointed it out to me in an e-mail. How did she find her way here?

I've been to Wales, lived in Wales (2 years) was born in New South WALES, have relatives living in Wales, a Welsh dad, and my daughter has a Welsh Rugby jumper. Do I qualify?

On the down side I am named after a Welsh politician.

My Great Great Grandfather decided to up and "go walkabout" in the 1870-1880's so there could be another whole branch of the family out there.

Hello! Yeah my user name is stupid - Mr.S.Marbo with no spaces. I've lived in Wales most of my life, and although I am not from Wales, I could well have Welsh ancestors I don't know about! On the weekends I am in South Wales and on a weekday I am in Mid / North Wales. Also my girlfriend is Welsh and speaks Welsh too so I might qualify on some of these counts.

I haven't painted in quite a long time now though but I still like reading stuff on the site and looking at submissions.... Do I qualify?? hehe
