Can Joshua please take a bow for his efforts on the "107" sig

Its a work of art, with a tagline that just keeps on giving!!

Thanks.

If anyone has any better ideas, I'm happy to take a stab at it.
This concept just sortof fell together when I finally found some time to start working on one.

Someone please educate me. What is the tearfull 107 a referance to? Some sort of inside joke or ???

"They must have gone batty, they only pledged Fatty"

It's a reference to the 107 KickStarter backers that didn't see the sense of upping their pledge to Abomination level, from Fatty level, when it would only cost them an extra $25, and get them a bucket load (over $25 worth) of reward goodies.

Affliction, actually. My hypothesis is that they simply read down the list of pledges, which didn't indicate anything about the extras: Abomination looks like an extra figure and dice for $25, which is pretty bad on its own - although good enough for Joshua.

Others claim that fully aware pledgers were simply strapped for cash and could afford $75 but not $100. Or perhaps they could convince their parents for $75, but not $100. Perhaps abject fear of ever being in that situation is getting the better of me, but I highly doubt these.

Either way, there's 107 people in that situation, and I started a sig to remember their pain - which Skittlebrau massively improved upon.

although good enough for Joshua.

When I got on board, it was only the extra fig even!

I just took a chance that the game would be cool and the minis would be worth it, and knew I'd want that extra figure eventually...even for $25.00 (Which seemed like a lot at the time...)

What boggles my mind, is that 25% of those that joined in at the Fatty level were in the last day or two when all the goodies were well documented!

Looking at that great sig again but wondered whether it should read "they must have gone batty as they only pledged fatty"?

just a thought...

Unless it's been done through comments, the only relevant option in the survey was to add an entire Abomination level at $100, though. So they'd get game+abomination for $175 (compared to Abomination x2 for $190 at Survivor).

Edit: And regarding last day, again, I think it's "I've been told that thing is cool, let's just read out the pledge levels.". Note that we're talking about 2% of pledges here - hardly a high fraction for the "What do you mean, reading?" demographic.

I'm pretty sure one could change one's reward level to a higher level if one wanted to.

There was a box at the end to enter how much more you owed above what you pledged.
