The thread of inspiration!

Hey! I\'d like to start a thread for adding artistic inspiration into our hearts; something which we all need a dose of every now and then. Post whatever makes you feel like painting miniatures, whatever gives you inspiration! Here is my own contribution:

Well, the photo might be a little blurry, but that tells you something about my semi-crappy digital camera. However, imagine the lamp to the left is lit, and your favourite music is playing on the stereo that is just outside the picture to the right side. Couldn\'t you just sit there for 18 hours straight, creating new miniature-masterpieces? I\'m sure I could

No I prefer my own painting station!
My inspiration= \'Nowt on the Telly\'; It\'s P*****g down outside, X thousand mini\'s to paint (near enough!) and to get my wife to turn into a Pineapple. (\'Cos that\'s what she say\'s she\'ll do when I ever finish painting all my figures).

I only wish I knew what wwould insoire me at the moment. Been suffering through some extended painters block. I\'ll paint a few minutes here or there, but no extended, productive sessions. This should be a productive time too. There\'s nothing else much to do, what with 3+ feet of snow on the ground (on the level, not counting the banks). Maybe I\'ll try something different. Some quirky, interesting, off-beat music (Brian Eno, Robert Fripp, David Byrne, Zappa...) That sometimes helps.

Oh, and uh, Finn? What exactly DOESN\'T inspire you to bugger off to the pub for a nip? lol lol

lol suddenly inheriting large sums of money would put me in the paint inspired mood.. that or a Knight in Shining Armor ..who cleans,cooks and deals with snotty kids would too.

someone needs to come up with a wargame with only teens as the story line.....
