Here is my main battlewagon, the "Yellow Fever". It's a kit bash, combining the front of an Ork Battlewagon kit, the tracks from a Land Raider, a huge gun and loading deck from a WWII Morser Karl kit, and the howda from the Forge World Squiggoth.

Here are some more updates. First up is an Assault on Black Reach warboss, with trusty ammo grot.

Next up, the BIG SQUIGGOTH! I scrathbuilt a new howda for the Squiggoth, in order to accommodate more guys. Sometimes he's played as a "counts as" battlewagon, hence the grot turrets with big shootas on the sides. When he's played as a Squiggoth, he's Cyborked, which is shown by adding a power plant on top of him, as well as tesla coils around his head.

Your stuff is amazing. I am all kinds of jealous (well, maybe 13 kinds). Even though my own skill level is FAR below yours, after looking at the last picture, I do have one small critique. You should really consider getting a pin vice and boring out your weapons. Other than that, the "Kong" Dred is pretty much my favorite thing ever.

Edit: I see now that you did on your warboss, just not the Nob.

Edit 2: Fixed.

I think it's important for everyone to take into account that the goal here was large army painting. Not individual golden daemon figures, but something that you actually rarely see these days- a huge, completely painted and converted army.

When you paint over 4000 points of orks in the course of 1 year, some things have to be left behind to get the job done. :)

I mainly decided to post this army here on CMON as an alternative to the same kinds of things we always see here. Don't get me wrong, I love pretty minis as much as the next guy- but I'm not interested in spending 20 to 100 hrs on single figures. I'm interested in beautifully painted armies- armies that look great to play with, that look great on the tabletop, but don't necessarily photograph the same way as the super zoomed up close single fig. This is a different painting concept- not better, nor worse, just different.
