I don\'t find it funny at all. It\'s a clip making fun of the \"reconquista\", which is literally the immigrants\' term for the \"reconquering of America\".

If a bunch of white comedians put together a clip about deporting Mexicans, the ACLU, La Raza, and countless other radical leftist groups would be outraged, screaming they are racist, xenophobes, nationalists, and calling for a boycott of their performances.

In addition, illegals use 3 public dollars for every 1 dollar the contribute, in the form of schools, earned income tax credits, child deductions, discounted or free housing, public health services, welfare programs, etc. Economic studies show illegals to be a net loss to the economy; thus negating the economic argument, and show that over 90% of illegals work in the service industry, yet they are not a mjority of the workers in any specific service field; thus negating the assumption that \"they do jobs Americans won\'t\".

We\'re being invaded, without a shot ever being fired.

*And before you flame me for being an \"elitist\", you should know that I\'m a minority, and not a Republican or rich.

I think it is funny.

What you said is true. But Americans don\'t try to stop it because they don\'t want to be considered biggoted.

I also read where there were more deaths caused by illegal immigrants than in the Iraq war.

And they say that Americans can\'t do sarcasm. Congratulations to you sir, your humourous comments are drier than the tongue of an Englishman!

This is one of the funniest clips I\'ve seen in a long while, and vastly superiour to 300.

Well, I\'m obviously not being sarcastic...I, as well as most Americans, see this as one of the key issues of our time.

Just because something\'s a key issue doesn\'t mean it can\'t be funny though. In fact, parody wouldn\'t be parody without some serious current issues to mess about with.

first of all, this is funny as hell...
anyone who can, should check out the movie\"day without a mexican\" to see a satirical take on what would happen in california if illegal immigrants disappeared one day...not the best movie ever, but makes a good point...
@lunchbox: is america not a country where anyone can come and make a fresh start...i believe that the national anthem says \"land of the free\", not land of the citizen...all our forefathers(aside from the native tribes) were immigrants...cali and the south-west were taken from mexico in the first place...
as a white boy who has lived in latin america for a lot of years(where else can one live the beach bum lifestyle on the cheap, not in cali that\'s for sure), i\'ve endured a lot of racism south of the border...
i have to take it, \'cause i\'m an illegal once i hit tijuana...i worked as a gardener in mexico for $10 a day, and only for the gringos...locals would not hire me...latin people tell me that even though i\'m tanned to a nice brown color, and speak spanish like a mexico city native, i\'m not from the third world, so i should not be given work...it\'s the same in costa rica, and every other latin country i\'ve lived in...i\'m not there to get rich, just to surf and eat mangoes...
if i\'m willin\' to work 8 hours in the hot tropical sun, with nothin\' but a machete and some shears, for $10 a day, why should locals with a lot more money than me get mad...doesn\'t make sense to me...
the point is, illegal aliens in america do a lot of the crap jobs for a crap wage that 95% of american citizens would never want to touch...most citizens would rather be on welfare than take the jobs that 75% of the illegals are workin\'...
agree or disagree, this is my personal experience...over 15 years, i worked my way around the world, and i\'ve seen so much racism and hate(in every country) that it is a wonder we haven\'t all blown each other up...

one love
jah

I agree that crucial issues can and should be made fun of. But, when it starts affecting my pocketbook, I get irritated. I\'ve already mentioned the economic hits we take as taxpayers, so there\'s no need for me to beat that to death.

jahminis - yes this is the land of the free...but there\'s a growing sense of entitlement that is cripling us as a nation. As for the \"we stole this land\" argument, every land on the planet is inhabited by conquerers. Since we (generally) don\'t have rule-by-conquest anymore, every country is established now in it\'s own right, and there\'s enough room in the world for every people. However, as a sovereign nation, we owe it to ourselves to protect that sovereignty. We can\'t sit around an feel guilty that we \"stole\" this land from a number of people...it is what it is now, and we have to make the best of it.

Sorry, I think much of your argument is a good one, but I can\'t agree with this statement.

The fact of the matter is, the businesses that hire people at a \'crap wage\' are to blame. It\'s not the work.

These businesses get away with paying these people less than the minimum wage in many occassions. They do it on purpose, who are the illegal aliens going to complain to?

Start holding the businesses and companies accountable for the explotation of workers (illegal or no) and I think the immigration problem would solve itself.

That\'s a bit of a broad statement---and only true in limited circumstances.

Regardless, if you work in America then you must--by law--pay taxes associated with that income. With undocumented workers, that doesn\'t happen. And in other cases, a stolen SS# and fake identification is given--a serious crime in and of itself.

If a person learns English, has a job, and pay taxes---I\'m all for giving them citizenship---as are roughly 78% (Time magazine poll) of other Americans.

According to the Pew Hispanic Center, 12 million illegal immigrants make up about 5% of the TOTAL workforce---1 in every 20 Americans. 850,000 have arrived since 2000.

The actual stats on the jobs they fill---
25% of all agricultural jobs
17% of office/house cleaning positions
14% of construction jobs
12% in food preparation

I\'ve held jobs in every one of those fields, at one time or another...and was glad to have it. I would bet that most everyone on the board has held a job in at least *one* of those areas at some time in their lives.

I can list out several people that I know personally, that can\'t find employment/make a living in construction because of the influx.
Namely several Americans that own drywall businesses, landscaping businesses, and painting businesses----all \"unskilled\" labor---
but their prices are being beat out by immigrant workers that don\'t have the overhead of workman\'s comp, income tax, etc....
The employers can pay \'em cash at a much lower rate than they can Americans.
Also, they can pay via barter, as money isn\'t the only option-----and it allows employers to hide potential profits and recording them as straight losses----which reduces their own legitimate tax burden.....

And I could go on about it \"ad nauseum\"....

But still---that video was friggin\' hilarious.

Very good point...I don\'t begrudge anyone trying to make a better live for themselves and thier families, but breaking the law to do so is wrong. But, again, I think that burden should fall back to these employers. I mean if the local Wal-mart can know instantly if the check I write is good or not...I\'d think there should be a way to check if a SSN is fake or not.

Yep. It seems pretty logical to take this approach. It puts the burden on the employers--where it, of course, should be--as they are the one\'s that benefit the most from the exploitation of the workforce.

And we really don\'t have to pass any laws---just enforce the one\'s already on the books.

It\'s just a sad situation for all involved...immigrants/Americans alike.
