Pointy V Gnarled

Hey Nornicle, is that gnarled stick you were shaking more or less advanced than a pointy stick?
I only ask as I have a very nice stick at the moment and was wondering if pointy is too advanced all in one go. Gnarly would be a very nice transition to pointy with out being too complicated.

my gnarly stick is probably less advanced than a pointy stick.

but relax dude, I just bought it from the gnarly stick store and the store assistant said this would be the best for me!

*shakes gnarly stick some more*:)

You left out \'talentless\', \'egocentric\' and \'tosspot\' but a good summary nonetheless:D

Oh, so he\'s a graduate of the RIchard Geer School of Acting:D

But I find it hard to take offence at Richard Gere, anymore than I could be offended by say, a log. Mr Crowe on the other hand just brings down the red mist:mad:

I guess it\'s got something to do with proximity and all. I used to know Mr. Gere many years ago, was friends with his sister, and he was already a pompous ass by the age of 16.

I like dogs. My first dog was named hotdog. And I had one named cocoa. Why are dogs always named after food? I think your right, it is cosmic.

I like dogs too - never named one after food though - there was Lady (a german shepard (thats Alsatian to you Brits)), Princess (her daughter (go figure)), Rex (a Labrador Retriever) - then there\'s my current dog Frodo (a collie beagle mix) and my girlfriends dog Bilbo - Geeks to the max I guess.

Somehow this seems like much more of a \"guy\" kind of boast ???:D???

And, Steel, why is it I\'ve known of 4 dogs named Frodo and all 4 are either collie or part collie???

P.S.

It\'s nice to be back after 6+ inches of snow, 35-45 mile per hour winds, gusting to 82!!!, and no electricity for a few days.

Everybody sing:

\"I-i-i-i-i-i Love New York!\"

Blind luck? Or just the fact that a collie would take on a job that has as one of its possible ends a very messy death? We dont call him stupid the wondermutt for nothing. lol

Ah! I think we\'ve hit upon it! lol Most of the collies I\'ve known were dumb as posts lol Always found it a bit ironic that Lassie, the worlds smartest dog, was a collie :D. Of course, it would have changed the show entirely had it been, say, a Basset hound lol
