\'nuff said.

We\'ve been trying to catch two for the past couple of months.. we are reduced to catching glimpses and then quickly hurling nearby objects at it..

We\'ve tried poisen and traps..

lollollollol

Do you see a mouse in there?

I was just posting a picture of a VENT (it is the Vent thread after all) I just grabbed an image off the NET....

I don\'t see a mouse in there at all...but maybe there is!!

No big problems for me although...
Well, there is this one thing that has been nagging me: In the last 4 months my total count of minis completed comes to a grand total of: 0. So there you go, even though I\'ve improved my painting/sculpting skills a lot I just eventually got bored of the mini I was working on and left it half finished. :flame::flame::flame::flame::flame::flame::flame::flame:

The great mouse debate lol

Here\'s a link to the page Vikey\'s picture came from and whilst it appears to be a vent about vents there\'s no mention of wee, sleekit, cowrin, tim\'rous beasties.

Alex, what are you using as bait in your traps?

Crackers with peanut butter on them. If you can get it where you are you need some good old American peanut butter like \"Skippy\"

Mice don\'t like cheese, it\'s a myth, so don\'t bother with that. When we have wood mice come in out of the cold occasionally I find that they can\'t get enough of chocolate. The stronger the better as the smell travels further. We have a couple of mouse traps exactly like this one. If you squish the chocolate into the circular bait hole the mouse has to work at it to get any and the trap has time to spring on it. Normally we catch them within hours of setting the traps.

I\'m pretty sure we picked those traps up at Wilkinsons and we tend to use Lindt 85% cocoa cooking chocolate in them. The mice get some and the Mrs. tends to make the rest disappear lol

We had 2 on seperate occasions a few years back. When we got hold of a humane trap and left it with dried fruit in it the mice decided to leave the house. Worked both times.

Although there was one night where it was running around the bedroom and I was this close to catching it in a box!
Poor little thing was jumping at the bathroom door trying to get out and it was the cutest little thing, arms widespread on it\'s back feet jumping up and down. Bloomin annoying little beasties though - noisy as hell.

Although when one turned up at another place, we couldn\'t find the trap, but Jay caught it smuggling it\'s way into an IKEA blue bag, so it trapped it in there and took it for a long walk near where there are a lot of red kites (birds of prey) and set it free.
It did not find it\'s way back to the house, but I\'d rather nature sorted itself out than using poisons.

Y\'know, I don\'t even think that statement is true!

My experience with mice is that it\'s best to come at \'em low and fast out of the rising sun. About 2 miles out I hit \'em with the Wagner!

Humane traps. Bah.

Or get a humane trap if you don\'t wish to squish...

(also, pet-safe due to being basically harmless. May lead to demands from your S.O. to \"take that thing across the road\")
