Okay, so I wasn\'t drunk when I made the vow, just really dumb. In this thread I vowed to paint 20 minis before I bought any more:

Well after almost six months I am happy to report that I finally made it last week. I hope to start posting pics in the near future. They consisted of:

Minotaur and Bretonnian Lord on Hippogriff in duel (3 figs)
Unit of Dwarf Longbeards(14 figs)
Goblin Wolf Chariot(2 wolfs, 3 goblins, 1 chariot)

So hopefully I\'ll serve as inspiration to anyone who makes such a vow that it can be done, or at least serve as an example of what not to do. Next time I think I\'d go with a smaller number like 10. Now if you\'ll excuse me I need to go out and buy 40 minis to replace the ones I painted. lol

I should add a hats off to Supervike, who made it to 17 painted before caving. Given the severity of his addiction, I think it\'s pretty impressive.:)

I think it is just sick. Not feeding your metal addiction? Next you\'ll want me to give up licking my brush....

I have to agree with Airhead not feeding a mini adiction is plain discraceful you not starve me of my fix :D Iwon\'t say how many I have bought this year compared to what I have painted unless units of warmaster can be classed as the number of figures in the unit and not 1 per stand, if I can count a unit of 30 10mm orcs as 30 figures then I might not look so addicted :D:bouncy::D

Yeah, but you should see how badly I\'ve been \'caving\'....

But its good to be off the wagon...or is it on the wagon...either way I\'m buying more minis!!lollol

BUT ALSO, and more importantly...

Herb the Bitter has claimed TWO MORE Golden Demons from the Chicago Gamesday..COngratulations!!!

The catch here... He never owned a unit of longbeards...

He bought them before he painted them! He\'s trying to hornswaggle us!

Unless they were given to him as a gift..
Or maybe he caught them while fishing...
