well a little over a month ago sukigod and i both had a little wager. we decided to see who could make the better wagon... of course mine is the best. hehehe. so after 29 days of cut fingers, sleepless nights, attacking squigs and grots in the middle of the night and even a zombie attack we have managed to get our entries done.....AND with time to spare.

feel free to vote for the one you feel is the best. there is nothing that you should be looking for, not the build, or paint job or use of piping from lowes. (which there is a fair amount of) no just vote on the one you like the most.

EDIT:voting links: http://www.coolminiornot.com/209335

First off, great entries from both! I had to go with Uberdark\'s piece, because in my opionion, the blending is better, it looks cooler, and the boom gun looks ded killy.

One of my nitpicks for uberdark\'s is the battle damage, especially over the black. It looks a tad cartoony. lower the contrast, or add some layers onto it.
For sukigod, I notice that the grot riggers in the sponson fire points seem to be trapped there. IMO it would look better if you removed the wall there somehow.

Well, what can I say having a soft spot for Orks of any nature I have followed this with interest :D

The winner for me though is Sukigod, his just looks that bit more Orkier...

Uber, although your entry is probably more Orkish in the way it is slapped together I just can\'t help but think that your team of Orks have been hanging around Chaos a little too much.

I think it is the chains and barb/razor wire that gives me this impression along with the cluttering of exhausts at the back.

One thought on your design though and I know its too late to change it now and it has only just come to me...you could have run the forward exhausts and possibly the rear ones (origonal rhino exhausts not the added extras) along the lower side skirts like that of a bike only partly hidden under the plating you have added to the sides.

Just a thought thats all :D

Both are excellent paint jobs and I am sure will look good on the table :D

Think that I\'m doing to have to agree with WG on this one Uber. Mine you that train/organ looks cool, but cluttered. I mean, how do the boys get out, without ripping some important? And it looks a bit heavy in the rear, like it would be \'pulling on wheelie\' the moment the driver kicked it into gear. And how far into the ground would the back go when the cannon is fired :D
Overall I commend the both of you for most excellent work:beer: As well as curse you both for your skills and ability to inspire the rest of us. (Y\'all gave my an idea that I\'m going to have to work out and maybe, just maybe will post one of these days):flame::flame: <evil eye>

There\'s Pimping and then there\'s Pimping. :)

To be honest I think Sukigod has the lead on this for me.

I like them both. I chose Ubie\'s because I was in a crazy mood. Must be a new Ork Clan, The Bonkerz BoyZ!

Suki\'s has a bit more Orky practicailty about it but Ubie\'s is just mad.
:D

Only thing is the back panel, as other\'s have said. the chipped areas could probably do with a bit of oxidation or something.

you know looking at the back panel i just realized that was the one area i forgot to do any kind of weathering on other than the preliminary shades. so a big DOOHHHHH from me.

as for fitting boys into the back, i cant do it since i have a booomgun....its not meant for transport capabilities. and mudduck the rear would do a wheelie......which would be awesome not to mention when the gun fires it WOULD go into the ground.....automatic entrenchment. hehehe.... i understand your reasoning mate, but i did it to make it look killy, pointy, and fast and i feel i did that....just not as good as suki. so anyhow.....

I can\'t honestly believe the folks who think my paintjob is better than Ubers - It\'s the thing I know, without a doubt, that he cleans my clock at. His blends are awesome and wish I could have pulled off a similar effect on the boom gun glyph (lord how I tried!).

I also don\'t know what to say about the voting, I thought for sure Uber was going to smash my measly wagon ta bits with his daring and very artistic interpretation of Speed Freek. I love it and would think it\'d would not only look sweet on the field, but intimidate the enemy into submission!

Fantastic competition Uberdark and I agree, another competition, another month, just not around the Holidays! And along with a great time, we both have awesome new Wagons to add to our Waaagh!

Thanks to everyone who watched and voted. Here\'s to everyone involved and a Happy New (Green!) Year!:drunk::drunk::drunk:

Reminds me of the \"Reavers\" from Firefly. Definitely Chaos-y.

For me the painting is very much a secondary consideration - I\'m not really seeing any sort of high-end blending per se. That said, both are totally appropriately painted and look awesome.

I went with Sukigod basically because it feels more \"coherent\" to me. It looks orky, while still clearlly looking like it used to be something else like an imperial vehicle perhaps.

For uberdarks, it\'s just too chaotic for me. Very cool concept, but I couldn\'t tell what I was looking at in terms of all the jagged metals sticking out everywhere. So as someone mentioned, it felt more chaos\'y.

Still, brilliant work on both!

1st off, I Like them both, serious skills and creative vision here. However I have to go with sukigod hands down!

Ah it\'s a difficult decision, I like bits of both, and dislike bits of both.
Overall I think I\'m going to vote Suki for overall look and practicality. But I don\'t really like the rolled up wire and big pile of putty on the top.
As for the insane one, well I loved the freehand on the back, it looks so cool I didn\'t notice there wasn\'t any weathering. The fine line between madness and genius has been run on this one.
Great work guys :)

i agree with both of them here. it\'s is a little dark god-ish.

both brilliant pieces though and i hope the other duels provide such good end results (although they have shown that they are too scared to post wips!)

Nice work both of you!

Uber, you do excellent work but I agree with the above posts; You\'ve been hanging around Chaos a bit too much with this one. :)
