Good stuff, Lost. I’m eager to see some paint on one of these.
Great looking bases. Get some paint on them already:laugh:
Looks very cool! At some point you have to stop adding detail thoughand get to the paint!!!

Well, if I might make a suggestion then, I think it would look good if you put some kind of partial door/gate in the archway. Or maybe have the door/gate splintered or broken and barely attached to the arch.
I understand the feeling.
If you're like me, I don't finish projects, most of the time, because I didn't succeed to achieve the level of quality I hoped.
But I started to realised (even if I already "knew" it), that I would never reach the level of finish I was aiming for unless i start to paint/build more.
From my point of view, your projects looks really cool so I do hope you'll manage to finish some of them.
Anyway, good luck to you and don't esitate to share in here, we are all in the same boat.
I hear you on this, I have started way more projects than I have actually finished. Some of them I have gone back to, others are relegated to trying new things on, and some get hidden in the deepest parts of my pile-o'-shame so they stop mocking me. Think of it this way, failure is part of learning and while it isn't pleasant, as long as you take something away from it you have improved in some area.
I'm sorry to hear that. I've also got a couple of projects that I'm stalled on - procastinating, basically. The way I see it is that I'm not sure yet what direction to take with them, and while my subconscious is working on the problem in the background I've got to keep my frontal lobes otherwise occupied.
Which is why I'm building so much stuff in the meantime.
So the suggestion I would make is to kitbash / build more stuff, and return to the painting bit when you are ready. And if you paint that rock, and it doesn't work, then stop painting it and build / paint something else.
Good luck!
[/h]If it's any consolation I bought Gauth 20 years ago and only got around to basing him 2 years ago, and still haven't finished the paint job the way I want yet. Awesome work on that Knight though. Where did you get the figure?
