I don\'t think it\'s one you can play endlessly but hey, it\'s something.

www.mousebreaker.com have lots of fun stuff. If that won\'t work, just §!$% them and bring a real Mahjongg set to your desk. For added effect, remove tiles with a Bowie knife :D

They\'ve taken away pen, paper

You ever try to remember a 9 didget transaction number so you can have someone look at it?

_pen and paper_??? Tools I would consider pretty much standard to almost any job? That\'s beyond ridiculous. Am I meant to believe doodling wastes that much time, or was everyone writing a novel? I know American business has a depressing contempt for their workers, but c\'mon...

No - the credit card companies are pushing legislation through congress that would make it illegal for any company that takes CC numbers to have pen or paper in their call centers - we\'re just over achievers in that the managers think we should be on board before the law goes into effect.

Are the computers are set up so you can\'t access anything where you can type in freely (notepad, what-have-you)? If not, it seems silly to outlaw the paper...

Are you able to play a game with your colleagues? Something that you can pause in between each other\'s calls?

Turn-based games mainly I guess

Sounds like the archaic rules at a defense company I worked for. NO CAMERAS ALLOWED! They didn\'t want you taking pictures of sensitive documents and selling it to a foreign entity. Data CDs? Oh, take all you want. Uh guys? One CD would hold TONS more useful information than that single camera would.

A least they just blocked it. At my company, they fire you if they catch you playing games or surfing at forbidden sites.

I\'m even scared of doing that myself...even if I\'m the gate keeper. With the economy going downhill, it\'s just not worth losing my job.

Bah, do a search for proxy sites and access your favored sites through one of them. :drunk:

I cannot be responsible for employment termination resulting from following my advice. :innocent:
