still a great evening to meet up family i only see once a year and all the lights utside make cold old sweden a happier place in winter time!

The picture sums up my feelings of what the day has turned into. Many moons ago I told all my friends that I'm done with buying presents (birthdays included). Still love-em just the same but this thing that at certain dates I HAVE to buy something or it will be a great social faux-pas just drives me NUTZ. I buy things for people all during the year - when I REALLY think "hey, Joel would really like this thing". A nice Christmas to me would be a good dinner with friends and family.

I hate the over commercialization and the prepackages Christmas gifts. But more than that I hate that so many people buy into Christmas being Christs birthday, total BS. Christmas is a Christian lie created to help suck pagans into Christianity based on the winter solstice celebrations. Nothing more or less. All these religious telethons and religious based advertisements make me sick. More because the sheople buy into the BS than anything. If one in 10 people had the intellect to research what Christmas actually is I could die happy.
