Feck... those SMG prices are unbelievable! I\'m so glad I sold Gamemart and got out of it when I did... That has GOT to be hurting independent traders when the distributor has a killer sale of this magnitude
Mind you, I would imagine that the backlash and threats of boycotts etc from the likes of UKCORD and other boards in response to Rackhams future plans (pre-paints etc.) haven\'t really helped sales much.
It would be a great shame if they were in serious trouble

What are the final decisions on this? I originally heard they were going pre-painted plastic but keeping metal for the more \"unique\" sculpts to satisfy the painters/conversion artists out there.
Now I\'m hearing it\'s ALL pre-painted?

I know we really know nothing in detail about the Rackham situation. But right now I\'m feeling kinda smug! The fact that all of a sudden, as if from nowhere, they seem to be in big trouble, backs up my regular insistence in GW bashing threads that, despite what most people said, companies like Rackham were nowhere near big or stable enough to be a threat to GW\'s monopoly.
So for now I\'ll wear my \'told ya so!\' face.
Could change to \'egg on\' face when we hear exactly what the deal is of course, but sod it, I\'ll revel in smugness!

interesting visiting there site .. New releases section .. US/English has the usual 8 or 9 models.....
the French which is generally a month in front of the US/ English only 1 model....

strange but who knows may be just a take over .. one of the pre paint companies buying them out who knows but I know one thing I love that Demn Tower.

I had to reign in my spending as my budget is kind of tight at the moment, but I got myself a few cadwallon figures plus the air and darkness elementals. I was so tempted by the monsters but I had to tell myself no. I may be saving lots of money on their normal prices but it\'s still money I hadn\'t planned on spending.
