things not looking good for rackham

I started to freak out that I\'d got a bad deal after re-reading Matty\'s mini to price ratio and needed a visual representation to check. I guess I did OK!

Mwahahaha! Come to me my pretties!! I love the smell of freshly packaged pewter in the morning. Smells like... inevitable failure to paint things!

And remeber some of the blister will have 2 or 3 minis in!
I ordered 9 blister packs, but 13 minis because of that.

And that dragon rocks!

To be perfectly honest I just love fannying about in Photoshop at the moment, and who can resist the opportunity to make a montage?

If I get you in the next mini exchange (missed the most recent one) I\'m sure all of this lot will still remain unpainted and ready to pass on! ;)

Suspension due to an \"announcement\" throws up a couple of scenarios. Announcing a change of focus to prepaints wouldn\'t qualify for a suspension (it\'s no big deal as far as markets are concerned), unless it was voluntary, in which case that\'d be really melodramatic for a meh kind of news and wouldn\'t sit well with investors at all.

Earnings warnings are also not a reason for suspending public trading, and neither is going into serious debt.

More likely scenarios (in no particular order)
1. Rackham is being acquired.
2. The company or a senior executive is being accused of serious fidiciuary misconduct.
3. The company has had a judgment entered against it which it cannot pay and is considering administration.

Based on the news of how well AT-43 did at GenCon, aquisition talk may be a good reason for suspension.

hmmm

My bets are on, if an acquisition, Wizards of the Coast buying them...

They are planning some new stuff with D&D miniatures for 4th edition...imagine having the miniatures created by Rackham?

ps: did at-43 do well at gencon?

Currently I\'m felling the calm of knowing I will now own the vast majority of miniatures I wanted from Rackham. Me mum\'s relieved too because now I won\'t beg for Rackham minis for b-day or x-mas.

i know alot of us swedes have a huge rackham collection and alot of us will keep playing confrontation 3.X, with or without Rackhams support.

worst business choice ever: pissing on your clients and throwing all the good stuff away just so that more kids will play another game....

Explanations from Rackham. In short, that means:

-AT43 is doing great in the US, but not so well in Europe;

-Confrontation is not doing well at all, described as \"at the end of its life cycle\", and AT43 isn\'t doing well enough yet to compensate the losses from Confrontation.

-Rackham has gone through changes over the past months (read closing of the foundry, many people fired including sculptors, artists,...), the first effects of which are seen right now. Those changes will keep on going though.

-Rackham accounting is being reviewed right now.

This last part is typically a first step leading to the company shutting down if they\'re unable to fulfill the plan set by the reviewer.
