Things to do in Atlanta GA

I have the opportunity to go to Atlanta at the end of May, and I don't really know if I want to or not. It'd be on my birthday, so I'm looking more for cool stores (music, art, hobby, etc) and/or hangout places rather than museums and the like. (not that I don't like museums, it's just not the reason I'd go.) Any suggestions of places worth checking out? Is it worth flying there for a weekend for said purpose?

Atlanta is pretty cool. World of Coke, Georgia Aquarium, not sure what you are looking for. The weather should be pretty nice then too.

I was in atlanta many years ago and really dont remember much. I have a friend down there who loves it but he is a big drinker and not a gamer or hobby store kind of guy. That could be why I dont remember much come to think of it.
Didnt wyrd miniatures just relocate near atlanta or is coolminiornot down there?
