Thinning acrylics with airbrush thinner

Am i the only one experiencing problem when thinning laint with water (especially when wet Blending)? The surface tension is the main prob.
I try solving it with using airbrush thinner for acrylics.

Anyone else doing this?

I use Glaze medium from Vallejo... Just perfect, one or two drops on my wet palette then I add some directly to the paint with the brush while I dilute the color on the palette.

I use a flow enhancer by golden, just add a few drops Minimum 1 to ten parts water, my mix would be 1 to 100, don't have to think about it again, works great with other mediums as well

I use one from liquitex on some of my more opaque paints through my finer AB.

AB medium adds back a lot of binder that gets diluted when you use just water.
With a glaze or wash, I'm not sure you want that.

I agree with the others:
Flow aid or glaze medium might be better choices.

For Gw paints I use tamiya thinner and a home brew mix of liquidex matt medium (80%) + liquidex flow aid (5%) + distilled water (15%), the couple drops of each to get the consistency required for brush painting.

For other paints I just use home brew to get consistency required.
