Thinnnig Metallic paint

hi all
im about to embark on painting an iron snake, and i was wondeing, i it worth thinning metallic paints and doing multiple coats or do they lose the pigments?

defenatly thin them metalics can get very clumped i find it best to treat them like any paint

Think of it as regular paint. Dillute it and paint several thin layers.

& highlight just as thoroughly as you would with any other kind of paint

as well as shading properly and not just wacking a couple of washes on thinking that will do the job.

I paint meallics pretty much the same way I paint NMM, only that I use metallic paints for midtones and highlights.

Pretty much the same with me, with glazes of paint or Tamiya Smoke for some of the shading and oxidation/weathering.
