Man, people suck, this makes me ashamed to be part of the human race.

I would assume that they cost an absolute packet and that these sort of things are not freely available from your health services.

Bet there are plenty of people out there who couldn\'t afford the latest prosthetics. What\'s the betting that the person who did it is making money from it though.... Pretty sad all round really.

Well Im thinking there is something deeper here than whats being said.. like maybe a jealous sister or friends or team mates or something.. how does someone constantly \"break\" into someones house only to steal a prostetic leg and nothing else.

Sounds like the first one stolen was returned after a while..well thown over the fence.

The thing is these things are made to fit only that person..not like another person can use it..so selling it is not likely. This was done for spite.

Something is fishy here. but yeah your right its just mean.

In San Diego one of the big ticket items to steal from the disabled are their Handicap parking plaques and any kind of electric chair or scooter. Would you believe scooters are the new play toy for the able-bodied!!???

Right across the street from my house there was a deaf/mute and mentally handicapped woman collecting money for some sort of disabled person\'s charity. When I walked by her she seemed distressed and through some gestures she was able to tell me someone had stolen the donations. She started crying..........SOME PEOPLE!!! Grrrr:flame:

I believe the scooter thing. Back in Mobile I knew a guy who was really big. I mean I am a fat guy, but he was about my size and short (5\'8\"-9\" tall). When ever we went for a walk, he complained about his legs hurting. He was even thinking about getting a scooter so he wouldn\'t have to walk.
