This is my latest paintjob. Again, messing around with lighting effects. This time I wanted a little vignette with a blue/white light source. The best thing about this for me is making use of an ancient mini in the shape of the Umber Hulk (that I actually found covered in dust and crud in a box I\'d forgotten about).

Why?

A lot of people don\'t take the time to tell a story with their miniatures and this here has a lot of atmosphere and you can just see that a lot of fun was had with this one.

So - 8.5 for the work - extra 1.5 for the great atmosphere.

dunno if it\'s just the pic (or my eyes/PC) but some of the lighting highlights seem brighter than your light source, when that should be the brightest

Yeah, I agree with FF assessment.

This has so much character, so much story, and so much fun. This is why I love miniatures, and especially dioramas....its the bit of story that makes this so interesting.
