Thoughts on the Survivors?

Just wondering who some of the survivors are modeled after. Since it's pretty obvious that the policemen is the guy from Walking Dead, the goth chick is from NCIS, and the business man is Micheal Douglas from Falling Down.
I think the Prepper guy is Ted Nugent...that just leave the waitress? and the Gangster...who may be Eminem?

anyways thoughts? also the promo figures are: Sheldon from TBBT, Machete, and Bruce Willis from Die Hard!

I also believe there will be a Chuck Norris guy in the expansion...

I don't think the six in the box are meant to be directly modelled on anyone, more so archetypes. The three promo survivors are obviously modelled on specific characters. I'm guessing that's why they're promos.

Did not recognize Sheldon until it was pointed out here. Now I don't see how I missed him.

EDIT: Didn't recognize Abbey either. Doh!

As a huge player of Left 4 Dead I can see some similarities between Zombicide and L4D:

Zombies:
-Fatty = Boomer
-Walkers = Hoard
-Abomination = Tank
-Runner = Hunter

Doug reminds me of Louis from L4D1 - Both office guys 'ready' with guns
Josh reminds me of Francis (L4D1) or Ellis (L4D2) for being 'street thugs' (open to interpretation of course)
Wanda remind me of Rochelle from L4D2 when a chainsaw was a 'premiere' weapon in the game - girls with chainsaws

I don't buy the connection for Josh for the simple fact that it doesn't follow the pattern of the rest.

El Cholo - Actor
Nick - Actor
Josh - Some random dude with a hoodie that might be in the background of a news photo.

El Cholo is Danny Trejo/Machete
Nick has the Bruce willis/John McClane's haircut

Shauns allready been made together with a few other famous zombie hunters by Hasslefree miniatures.. great sculpt I might add.. I would much prefer a few normal everyday heroes, but if CMON keeps doing pop icons, what about a zombie slaying Johnny Cash? or the the Mcmanus brothers from boon dock saints? Michionne the deranged katana wielding maniac from the Walking dead together with her (h)armless chained pet zombies would be fun too.

Sorry but I don't care for proxies and what others have done.... No offense mate

That's because there will be no rules for 'em, no sheets ,nothing.
And because I just can't mix figures from different companies; for exemple a Rackham figure will look odd in the middle of a Warhammer Battle army, it'll certainly be noticed but not for the right reason IMHO. There's a considerable amount of companies that I like, I buy from a lot of them but I just don't mix.

This game I like, this company I'd like to produce some of the ideas I presented
BTW I think we're drifting away from the original subject and this last part would be better placed in the "And the next contestants please..." post....

My Sheppard in Mass Effect looked like Trejo. Makes everything more awesome!

Anyone wanting a "Buffy the Slayer" character can use the obvious figure from Hasslefree, or the similar one from CMON.

I like how the art for El Cholo looks a bit like Danny Trejo.

The sculpted figure looks EXACTLY like him.

It's usually the other way round!

I feel the same way about the Nick sculpt, his sketch definitely had the look of Willis/McClane but the survivor sculpt leaves no doubt.
