Thunderbolt Mountain Hawthorne Noble on Foot - Comments Please?

I painted this fellow up for the thunderbolt mountain call for painted models for Harbinger Magazine. I will be surprised if I get into the magazine, but at least I get a free figure.

Overall I\'m very pleased with the paint job, and the detail on this model was absolutely incredible. I think I\'ve improved a bit with my metallics on the clothes at least. The sword/shield are passable but not particularly exciting, which is why I didn\'t bother taking direct pictures of \'em. ;)

Any comments would be appreciated.

I took new pictures, so here\'s the updated link: http://www.coolminiornot.com/58910

I really like the muted colors. Seems to be kind of a departure from your normal \"more vivid\' color scheme.

The face seems very contemplative and a little sad....Good job in capturing the emotion...

Maybe a shade more highlights (does that even make sense?) on the leggings and on the cloak.

Very nice work. Thunder Mountain stuff doesn\'t get enough exposure!

Good luck in getting in the Mag....

;)

OOPS!

Thanks for providing the link, supervike. I just remembered this morning that I forgot to put it on the post!.. :)

Thanks also for your comments! I agree about the highlights needed on the pants & cloak, although I think part of it is just bad photographing skillz on my part =(.
