Time for a poll!

I'm converting a land raider hull so I can finally get myself a crusader, now, what version do you prefer?

I prefer the upper one, the other looks too massive.

Hi Chrome, they both just look very similar. Is it the little guns on the front that change the name? I'd nip down to the model shop & pick up a tank model with a decent gun/turret & put that on top so that it actually has some presence.

Or, stick the tiny gun on the upper one on top of the little gun on the bottom one, which at least means that one of them has better than a 30 degree arc of fire.

Or would that not be in the spirit of the fluff?

Are you going to have any soldiers sticking their heads out of the top of the hatches?

I'll vote for the bottom one though, the main gun should surely be bigger than the spares on its side?

Second one, it's all about the size!

if you are going to use a turret theres no point putting it where the amount of movement is limited use both stick the big turret on the back hatch too

I think the bottom one looks cooler. Also, it'll be better to paint I reckon. Bigger panels to have some painting fun on!
Shellshock's got a point too. It's all about size!

I voted for number two, as it seems more consistant with the oversized chunkiness.

i prefer autocannons/gatlings really but they look a bit small on that tank.

Well, the weapons loadout will be the same, ie one tl assault cannon and two hurricane bolters. I won't be modding the vehicle sheet, just the looks of it. But I must say, I've never seen a poll this even before. XD

guns, lots of guns all bunched together, guns yum yum big pigs bum. chrome as an ex "drop short" you should be able to appreciate the satisfaction that superior fire power can bring

Well, when I was doing my part we had a saying, "anything less than 155mm is small-bored."
I really do miss those days, literally sitting on these fellas while recoiling 1.2 meters is really something. you only forgot to fasten your helmet once.

These guys are loading it a bit differently than we did though, we had our 'gunpowder' loads in a shell instead of feeding them into the barrel like that. Kicked roughly two-three hours off of the time it took to clean the bastards. awesomesauce.

the biggest gun i've seen, i dont recal the size maybe you'd know it had trailer under the muzzle which steered the front and a driving position at the breech end it was down for the chi march in 88 believe it was that long it knocked some walls down whilst they where trying to manouver it lol

hey, takling about big guns check out the german ww2 tank P1000. make your crusader pretty lame huh
they only came around to build the turret before they they realised its not going to work in reality and canceled the project though...
