TIME TO VOTE - Wereshark WYRD Painting Contest

I voted and made comments on all of them. That was a difficult decision!!! :wow:
Wish I\'d had the time to finish my peice, though my idea had already been done :(

Now I\'m going to be checking online all tomorrow for news on the winners.

Hrm...well after tonight, I won\'t be able to check online until probably Monday at work. :~( I hate being patient.

As I\'m going to be a busy bastard today (Sunday) out at the river pulling in all the jug and line fishing that we set out yesterday (and avoiding being hit by the wife with a frying pan) I\'ll continue to take votes up until later tonight - likely 10pm or so.

After that, I\'ll go through all the votes (I honestly haven\'t counted them yet), tally it up, and make an announcement on the website as well as here.

All participants will get an e-mail between tonight and tomorrow with the comments, if any, that were left. If you are the winner of either Best of Show, Best Base/Diorama or one of the luckey Scmucks I will inform you in the e-mail as well.

I thought Shmuckette was small and blue and wore a funny white hat? I\'ve seen your pic in the PYP and I\'ve only noticed a \'slight\' resemblence. lol

You\'re right, I was thinking of that OTHER line that actually DID come from a Samantha Fox song -

Touch me, touch me, I wanna feel your body...

I always get those \'touching\' songs mixed up. I must be having one of those \'Senior moments\'. lol

\"The WYRD Wereshark Painting Contest\" is now officially over and the votes have been tallied! It was a close call for the winners of both catagories and for a bit there I thought we would have a tie in the Best of Show.

For BEST OF SHOW, the winner was Heather O\'Neal with her \'Wereshark Gladiator\'. She barely managed to edge out Tracy Brady with her \'One Surprised Eagle\' who came in second place. Third place was shared by Joanne Dale with her \'Wereshark Snack\' and Scott Baker with his \'SNL Candygram\'.

For BEST BASE/DIORAMA, the winner by a clear margine was Scott Baker with his \'SNL Candygram\'. This seemed to appeal to everyones humor and it was quite well done. Coming in second was Michelle Clay with her \'So Long and Thanks for all the Fish\' with its stunning beach diorama and following closely was Tracy Brady with her \'One Surprised Eagle\'.

Congratulations to the winners and a big thank you to everyone who participated and make this such a fun contest! E-mails will be sent out shortly to all involved and those winning prizes in their catagories as well as those winning the \'Random Schmuck TM\' prizes will be contacted for their addresses so that prizes can be sent promptly.

Once again, a huge thank you to Reaper Miniatures for supplying the prizes for this contest.

Keep your eyes on the site and the forum as another Wyrd Painting Contest is in the making and will be announced shortly!

Some outstanding talent here, it was really hard to pick winners :eek: Well done to everyone.

HUGE thanks to FF for running this contest, it has been a pleasure to watch.

Heh...yeah...\"my gallery\"...right now I like to think that it\'s an artistic choice...the emptiness of my gallery reflects upon the emptiness of my soul because of the impersonal nature of modern society.

That or it reflects a lack of time and sleep right now. :p
