Judging by my previous projects I'd probably finish it sometime in 2035. It would look really, really cool though

I love the idea, it will certainly set the piece off beautifully. It will take time, but don't all the best things? And with your skill it should be jaw dropping.
where did you get that display plinth from, I want one ?

God damn it guys isn't somebody out there going to at least try and talk me off of the ledge!!!!

Well it's to late now. Because everyone has effectively been chanting 'DO IT, DO IT, DO IT, DO IT' i've gone and bought a load of ghouls, zombies and skeletons from Mantic......happy now :curse:

Gandalf - I got the base from a guy called Richard from Oakwood studios. great customer services and really reasonable prices http://www.oakwood-studios.co.uk/
Thanks John. To be honest i'm a bit crap at finishing models. The only complete, based mini I have is Horus and I didn't really like how the final photo's came out. The Malacant diorama is pretty much finished and as soon as i can refocus my 30 second attention span, i'll post some picture to the Gallery I promise.
10 - You're Green Knight was incredible mate. I remember staring at it for ages at Golden demon last year and I haven't really been able to forget it since. While doing my research for my War conversion I came across the King of the hill silhouette and instantly wondered if I could do something similar as kind of a tribute. I hope you don't mind.

'Flying skeletons, that didnt drive you mad at all Ten Ball

'

Sure did :messed:

This skeleton was me at the end!! On a side note I reckon (and informed) that if I had knuckled down and fine tuned the painting I might of snuck a demon. It was the usual case of getting to 85% finished and rushing :(

Thanks guys.

@ Epic I'm a bit of a sporadic painter and I don't update my WIP anywhere near as much as I'd like. I'm glad you like the water effect. I think I was very lucky with that if I'm honest but I'm really pleased with how it came out.

@ gandalf and WGS thanks for the vote of confidence guys. It's a really nice sculpt and so far (after a shaky start) I'm really enjoying paint it. I can't wait to get to Ruin!

@ BAM lol sir yes sir. I do really need a kick up the arse ever now and then mate so go for it. Not sure about the CMON annual though (what is that by the way??)

ok so I've got a little bit done tonight. I started doing the gauntlet in TMM but it just didn't look right. After a quick tea break and a little think I've decided to give NMM a go instead. It needs a few glazes to blend the translations more but I'm pretty happy with the result so far. Thoughts?

I think that if you mini score 8.0 and over and have 50 votes and over for it, not sure. Then you get an invitation for the CMON annual

Thanks Ter is the annual in print or online, do you have a link?

Thanks Ark. Glad you like he sword. It's a 3D print commissioned from a guy over on shapeways. As I s a beta it cost very little and I'm really pleased with how it tuned out. Much better than something I could do.

My box of Mantic undead turned up today and on a quick glance there look perfect for what I'm after. Much better sculpts than GW, loads of bits for variety and plastic so easy to repose. I'll start playing with them and the base as soon as I get time.

the NMM on the gauntlet is getting on my nerves. I've refined it a little but now the more I look at it the more I'm convinced I've got the highlights and shadows in a he wrong place. I'm debating weather to redo it or rework it....
