Tin foil

Good morning!
I\'m experimenting atm with using tin foil to simulate peeling wallpaper, what I was wondering, is if anyone has found a way to \"stiffen\" the foil after its been glued in place.
Its a real pain trying paint the foil at the moment because it moves so much!

use paper soaked in pva, much easier and has been used for a long time by many modelers.

A good coat of spray primer can help, but a common way of stiffening this kind of thing is with a thin application of superglue.

Superglue shud stiffen it a BIT, but tbh I\'d go with generul\'s suggestion

Ordinary paper covered with super glue goes very stiff, too.

I tried the tin foil method when I wanted to make banners years ago... they break very easily. I would go with his suggestion

Lining paper, 1000 grade (the stuff you put on walls before your wallpaper) coated in shellac
