EXCELLENT :)

Thanks to the pictures you don\'t really NEED a translation, but if the author could be convinced to post here, or submit it for translation that would be cool.

Sculpting heads isn\'t actually so bad... At least sculpting one side of a head isn\'t so bad. It\'s making sure the features on the other half match up properly that I have a problem with! Thankfully for sci-fi stuff I can overcome this problem with the addition of bionics and for fantasy I can use long overhanging hair or vicious scars!

When I finally finish a model that has both eyes showing you\'ll know I\'ve totally got the hang of sculpting.

Is anyone able to contact the author of that GREAT tutorial...?

Reason being:

a> We want it here!! :D
(Translated preferably :p)

And

b> I made myself a printer-friendly version of all those pictures as I don\'t have a PC near my painting area... I thought if I was able to upload THAT version it would help people in similar circumstances - but I don\'t wanna do it without that guys permission...

I don\'t know about contacting the author of that tutorial, but Matt Gubser of Prophet Miniatures has a fairly similar tutorial that he\'s had on his site for some time in both English:

http://www.prophetminis.com/faceenglish.html

and German:

http://www.prophetminis.com/facegerman.html

and while Matt doesn\'t post here on CMoN very often, he steps in now and again, so you might be able to reach him here (or through his website) with any questions.

RE: translations

You can get text or web pages translated quite fast and easy like.

First copy the text or address of the desired page to be translated *copy below*:

http://www.gw-fanworld.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=59566

Then go here *click below*:

http://babelfish.altavista.com/

Then all you do is paste the address in the \"translate a web page\" box, then select the language from and to, for translation, in this case \"german to english\", then click translate. A second later the web page opens up in the language of your choice.

Of course some times the translation is not perfect, but you usually have no problems understanding what is being said even though the odd word or two is obviously in error.

It\'s not what was in the posts, it\'s what the url in the spammer\'s info page was directing you to, the usual crap about meds, I think. I don\'t know what the Array bit is supposed to mean, though.

They are, I\'ve just been deleting them.
As annoying as midges on a picnic.
