Tip on using Vallejo paints

Hey, here\'s a good tip to help you a bit when shaking a Vallejo paint bottle. I tried it last week and it really is helpful.

First of all you need those chunks of metal cut from the feet of a mini. Cut them into small bits, about 0.5 cm or a little bit smaller will do just fine. Next, use a paper tissue to carefully rip the white top off the bottle. Just wobble a bit and the top will come off quite easily, just be sure that the tissue protects you from any paint that might come out. Drop the metal bit in there, close the bottle again (firmly), but the screw cap back on and start shaking.

You will experience that the mixing goes much better now, and the metal bit won\'t rust or leave marks in the paint or whatever. And oh yeah, you can also use the technique with Citadel\'s bottles .

Pellets

I generally use pellets from my pellet gun. They are cheap, lead (won\'t rust), and come in larger quantities than I need for painting or de-varmiting.

i use small marbles inside the GW paint bottles but never on the Vallejo.

For Vallejo paint, I want the richest of it and hence, I normally store it upside down. The thickest and richest pigment sinks and when I use it, I get it.
