Shouldn't be a problem painting that fur, only thing is being patience and paint each hair at a time, drybrush is not going to give you the level of detail you are looking for my friend.

Best regards.

Looking at the unpainted minis on the link, I don't think the texture on the models will work for washing or dry brushing.

If I was painting them, I would paint the inside of each groove with something several shades darker than what I wanted the final color to be, then paint over everything with very thinned down glaze coats. (probably several coats) The dark portions you painted first will show through the glaze layers. Once you have the basic colors, you can add shadows and highlights, again using very thin, light layers to build up to the final, desired color.

Practice on a piece of paper first, and you will get the hang of it pretty quickly.

There is enough texture there that you could pick it out by using the side of your brush when applying you highlight colors. Not the tip, use the side of the bristles and unload most of the paint from your brush. It's more like damp brushing and you have to be gentle and put the brush perpendicular to the flow of the fur like you would with the hair on a mini.

Like this but with much thinner paint and gentle glazes:

Good thing those are metal becuase you can practice a few times and strip them if you don't like how they came out ;)
