By no means perfect, but good fun, I aimed for a porcelain type skintone, so really pale, it looks pretty good in real life, but varies between monitors it seems, dunno, painted in about a day, fantastic sculpt by Kev White :D

I paint my thumb.
Good work, skin is, as you said, a little rough, but looking good. Hair is great, very good highlights and color.

I love it. Not just technically adept, it's so artistic. Letting the paint support the pose, rather than distract from it. Could have been easy to fall into doing something fancy on the towel/blanket, but that would drawn one away from the figure.

Nips like that ain't terribly uncommon. There's a puffyness with newly formed boobs. And small ones often have tips that could take one eyes out. Check out Milla Jovovich, could hang a coat off hers. :hypnotized:

Skin and hair are very good only problem I can see is that some of the transition between hair/skin and skin/towel on her back look rough could just be my moniter but is distracting

I don't mind the hard transitions in skin tone too much, kinda fits the composition. Like she is just stepping out of a cold forest stream on a bright spring morning. I really like the shadowing between her right shoulder armpit area and her right breast highlight. Gives the impression of really bright overhead light (i.e. bright sunlight)

keep up the good work.

I really like the sculpt and I have to say you did a great job to make it shine. Base and color scheme works really nice together. Also love your hair lighting, it looks pretty smooth and clean.
Anyway - all was mentioned before - Well done mate, congratz :good:

Nice paint Squig, particularly for a fairly quickly produced piece. I'm a bit unsure about the shading being so brown, particularly around the ankles/back calves on the lower pic, makes the flesh look a bit dead to me. To my mind a more porcelain effect would need touches of blue. Regardless, I like :D

Out of interest, given your age, are you using your mini painting/sculpting as a facet of your portfolio for Art/Design A level (or equivalent)? I got a bit of a sense of it with your Hitler Youth diorama but forgot to ask. I'm jealous if you have a tutor who approves, mine were so dismissive they spoiled aspects of the hobby for me for years (confidence knocked).

Cheers, B.

Freak: "Blind cobbler's thumbs" lol, that's a new one on me, a mate uses "Chapel hat pegs" which has always tickled me :)

Well done man! It may have some areas that are not perfect but overall it is very well done. I imagine that it is pretty tough getting THAT much skin smoothly blended.
