Happy Thanksgiving.

Me and some of the Canadian teaches had a pot luck dinner on Saturday.
On Sunday we went a French Canadian guy’s restaurant and had a Bloody Mary brunch (French toast stuffed with ham, cheese, and covered with sugar free syrup…Yummy!) and watch the Canucks beat the Flames on Sling Box.

Cheers!

I wish I could\'ve seen the Flames lose, what was it 6-0 or something crazy? In other news, the hometown Oilers finally played their season opener tonight, and won 3-2 thanks to 2 goals by Mr. Untapped Potential himself, Dustin Penner.

This isn\'t the first time he\'s looked like a multi-million dollar player, and it\'s not the first time I\'ve yelled \"Double Penner ftw!\" when he scores 2 goals in a game. I just wish it happened more often... both so the team could win more and so I can be socially awkward. It\'s fun!

Oh yeah, and Happy Thanksgiving and all that :D

It was far from a blow out. But it kept you on hte edge of your seat. I have to admit, When Calgary scored three goals in a row after Vancouver\'s one, I was expecting a loss.

It was wierd seeing Bertuzzi play for hte Flames though.

Sorry I didn\'t realise that they had the rematch already. The season opener was the blowout game :D

Normally I don\'t miss hockey games, especially season openers for everyone, but this year I was buried in papers, more papers, midterms and presentations over the last few days.

I am finished them all now, as of 8pm Sunday night I handed in the last assignment for a while. I have 2 papers due in 8 days though, so it\'s not a walk in the park just yet :D

Happy Thanksgiving to all my proud northern brothers and sisters.

I\'m always happy to get through thanksgiving. At work I take orders and reserve Turkeys for customers and usually there are many problems, shorted by supplier, weights not accurate to my expectations, load of fresh turkeys get\'s frozen etc. and I have to spend my weekend explaing to the person who had their stuff together and booked their turkey over a month in advance that their turkey is now frozen, 1/2 the size they needed, or that the natural organic free-range turkey they wanted has now been replaced by an injected pre-stuffed, \"Butterball\" turkey. I also don\'t get my stock unitl the zero hour so it sucks a ton.

This year wasn\'t bad. Maybe as most of my turkey buyers have quit booking turkeys......

Anyway enjoy the weekend Canada. Except you Habs fans, you go right to hell!

Aye, happy Thanksgiving all you guys (and gals).

I should start celebrating Canadian Thanksgiving here in addition to the American holiday. That would give me two excuses to eat lots of food :D
