I can\'t stand trifle either, the old-skool type, jelly and little mandarin pieces. Eurgh! Also blancmange. A travesty of a foodstuff.

I paint my thumb.
Saw a show on TV that had a resturant in Korea that served tiny octopus ALIVE. It showed people eating them and the lilttle tentacles grabbing their lips as they put them into their mouths.

Oh, forgot the tiny octopus. Another thing in sushi I never got to like. They we\'re dead and marinated in spicy sesame.. but still had plenty of weird textures inside them.
\" Oh, crunchy.. now chewy... oh crunchy again.. flaky.. grainy.. soft.. I think thats the brain now... can I spit it back already?\"

@Rev. Back from local bog, I confirm my theory:D
( Actually I gave five bucks to a local kid to taste it and describe it to me.)

I don\'t know what blancmange taste like, but they sure play tennis really good:p

Now I\'m confused. I was thinking of a vase as an ornament lol

Last time I tried that, I cut my tongue really bad... and it did not even taste like Kumo.
Isn\'t vase ( Like the very liquid mud in a swamp.) a proper anglish word???

Edit: Nope, Dictionary.com just proved me wronglol

Recently I have been on the receiving end of -

Jellyfish - like cold fishy spaghetti, quite nice.

Sea cucumber - sea slug to the uninitiated. Say its the most expensive thing on the menu to make you think its edible. It isn\'t

Beef tendon - Nope. Nope. Nope. Meaty slimy jelly stuff. Nope.

Puffer fish - Like fish jerky. Edible but overrated

let us not forget the ever foul Vegimite

As for baked apples, it can definately taste poor, but I have to agree with bill, when it\'s done well, it\'s pretty much one of the best things out there.

Nothing wrong with marmite/vegemite! Especially on a piece of toast with loads of butter to mix the two together!

Anchovies!

The foulest thing ever put on a pizza, or anything else for that matter.

But they do become worcerstershire sauce, which is delicious!

Shaz, you have my admiration for eating sea cucumber.

After seeing those things sprawling around on the sea bottom, they shall never pass my lips.

I\'ll try most foods once.

My hatred? Cherry tomatoes. Rancid eyeballs popping in your mouth. NEver found a way to like them yet.

Pickled sausages. Used to eat them while drunk in a ratty bar called The Little Brwon Jug somewhere outside Fort Drum in upstate New York.

Tried one one day while sober and nearly puked...never again.

Totally! Marmite has the edge, but Vegemite will do at a pinch.

My problem is with dessicated coconut. Makes me gag if anything has that in it. But wierdly, coconut milk is just fine...???

Anyone see the episode in Long Way Round where they\'re in the Mongolian yurt and they have to eat cow and sheep testicles :)

I\'ll try and put the clip up somewhere. The look on Charlies face is priceless.
