...I found a baby Slow Worm crossing the road in my street. The poor bugger must be very confused. Anyway, I put the wee feller in my back-garden. Next month I expect a whole new eco-system. But isn\'t it still too cold? Push comes to shove, I may yet end up with a 10ft python (in the garden, not my pants...). Either which way, these legless lizards are very beautiful.

A legless lizard it seems. A snake with no legs. i\'m still confused, but they\'re called lizards. Like some skinks maybe? ???

I\'m waiting on it to get warm enough that these guys come back to the flood control ponds across the street from my apartment

See, things like that here in the Mojave Desert will kill you or make you itch. Everything here either kills you or makes you itch. So the thought of picking one up and moving it makes my skin crawl. Or itch.

Have ye never heard of the legendary Snowe Wyrm?

I do love Slow Worms. They please me mightily!

Freak: I would have loved a guaranteed amount of them to play with every year. Lucky thing!
