Tom Meier, sculptor

... just found a biography by my second best loved sculptor Tom Meier that I would like to share:

The first miniature I bought was \'Armoured Dragon\" by Tom Meier and he is the one that got me hooked to the hobby.
Take a deep bow to Tom Meier, a giant in the miniature business and a very decent, very nice person too.

P.S. My first best loved sculptor is Dave Summers of course, no one does it like him.

there are a lot of very talented sculptors around nowadays but tom was one of the ones to realy start pushing things.

I agree that he rocks, just wondering if his caracature cannon and crew, are still in the pipeline????

Indeed, he is very good! He\'s behind the Dark Sword Song of Ice and Fire minis, which I personally think are awesome. I\'d love to know how he does it!

You could always ask him at GenCon. He usually teaches a couple of classes. Tom is one of my favorite sculptors too but I\'ve not taken the class as I\'m not sure I\'m good enough to get anything out of it.
