Tomb King themed Marines

I'm kicking around the idea of doing some tomb king themed marines. Armor will be Hawk Turquoise, emblem will be the Egyptian god Horus' symbol. I'm having a hell of a time figuring out what color to pain the trim of the shoulderpads on the marine.

I initially was thinking mechrite red, and while I like it, I'm not sure if it dulls down the turquoise too much. White seems to be too stark of a contrast.

Any suggestions? I'm trying to stick somewhat to the khemri color scheme, but don't mind wandering outside of it.

that's a common accent on the Tomb Kings minis...

I think my biggest worry about going gold is that it will be too "thousand sonsy".

Just do a google search on colour wheels.
You'll find that Blue Green has a tertiary set of Yellow Orange and Purple Red.
Think of a yellow trim on Shoulder pads and keep Purple as a small accent colour.

I'd suggest a discolored bronze. Maybe it's me, but the Hawk Turqoise is a pretty light color, so to add some visual weight to the models using a darker looking metal would seem more balanced. You can then use a purplish colour for the trim, but I wouldn't stray too far into the reds. Red and bronze...bleh.
