So, my name is Tony, I'm 25 and I have never sculpted a model from scratch...(Ok, enough with the AA stuff, let's get to the point, most of you have a fair idea of who I am anyway. ) So when I got this commission I thought it might be a very good time to join in! I'm a little late i all this but hopefully I'll be able to catch up.
So, with this being a commission I believe most of you have already guessed that this will vary a bit from the sculptalong model, but hopefully I'll be able to manage.
This will be a 54mm sculpt with these parameters:

• humanoid
• Male
• Fantasy
• Books
• Blue - dark-ish blue
• mage-ish
• cowl

After a while of discussing the pose and such I came up with a piece of concept art, this was then utterly ignored and we changed the pose. Anyway, here's the framework:

Cool, welcome on board! bear in mind that the doubled wire could make the wrists a little thick

Okie, after a lot of things turning up that were quite unexpected I'm back on this project again. I guess I'm basically as behind as it gets but I've managed to do some work on this guy.

I never took a pic of when I strengthened the frame with some spare green stuff but I did quite some time ago. Now I'm using a paper-clay to build up the basics of the body before smoothing it out with a wash of milliput and then adding greenstuff details.

He is supposed to be standing on a huge pile of books later but I have no idea where to start when sculpting those, I don't want to use anything else but putties either.

Anyways, the only thing that I feel is somewhat 'done' is the leg he's got on the ground.
