I love that comic! A friend showed me that a little while back. I haven\'t really been keeping up with the newer ones though. Haven\'t read it in a little over a month, I think. Reminds me of gaming when I was a kid. Heh.

@ Zora and TAB - If you folks are ever up in the Seattle neighborhood, give a holler. Got a few groups up here. Mostly D&D, used to do White Wolf a lot too. I\'m kinda on hiatus while I\'m in rehearsals and waiting for the next L5R RPG edition to come out and see if it doesn\'t suck.

Ya know, Elan kinda reminds me of a bard I played. To this day, the class has a bad rep in our gaming group. Poor character got dropped so many times by small rats and other random encounters that I started calling him \"Dances with Pavement\".

@Equus : Sounds like your bard was the opposite of my comedy-relief mage. I bought him a fern, named it \'Gully\' and called it his lucky fern.

That mage never once got hit by anything, until the DM finally sicced another mage on us, so he didn\'t have to roll \'to hit\'.

Thank God they changed the rules in 3.5 so the bard song affects the freaking BARD! My character was giving all these nice bonuses to the party members, but none to himself. So, of course, intelligent baddies went gunning for the bard since he was making the rest of the party more effective. Dang that was dumb.
