Good God !! I really can\'t start to image that.. and frankly.. I wouldn\'t want to.. I think I\'d need councilling !!

I tend to go into a mad arm waving frenzy every time I spy one of those yellow and black horrors :)

Sorry to bring up a horrific event like that... but after it done its damage did it fly out on its own accord ?:)

Can you add those gnats who tend to bite lumps out of you in the evenings..

P.S I think Wasps and fleas are the only creatures i would be happy to see extinct

I got stung by one as a kid now if anything comes near me that goes buzz I go in the opposite direction quick as a flash, provides everybody with a good laugh at parties/BBQ\'s except me I think the damn thigs should be flame grillled

@Dragonsreach - Yup up there all week training peeps and updating training materials (woohoo.......hum...), but if you are in Warrington give me a shout. As to the shandy, the amount of fluids I\'ve been drinking today, if it was full fat beer I\'d have been completely off my face by about 2pm!

@Doombadger - yep, it had crawled right into my ear canal, so all I could hear was that horrible buzzing, and I could feel the vibration. I was a complete wreck. No-one could actually get it out so it had to back out by itself. It was one of the most unpleasant things I\'ve ever had to experience. I think I would officially be allowed to say I have a fear (I don\'t think I can say phobia, because I think thats an irrational fear, and I\'m convinced mine isn\'t irrational!).

And yes, I\'ll add those gnats to the extinction list!

You know what the complete bugger is about wasps? I love doing BBQ\'s. Would have one every week. To do that I get through a hell of alot of the wasp away spray (It does work though).

Try getting stung in the white of the eye by a bee. Utterly horrible.

Ack, don\'t get into Warrington, just drive past it. However there\'s a new shop opened up in St Helens. Wargamesworld, I\'ll have to call round and drool, sometime.

Raining stair rods in St Aweful

It\'s been chucking it down here, but it is still horribly muggy and now the humidity has gone through the roof...

It\'s never too hot to post however...:D

Just too hot to do anything useful or constructive:flip:

Matey,

send some of that rain to london! I\'d quite happily stick the laptop indoors and sit outside

@Evil Dave - Is the whole state air conditioned to make up for that horrible temp?

I think wasps hang around like deliquient teenagers waiting for people to fire up a BBQ

if its a typical english summer.. (two hot days then a thunderstorm) It should be \'shedding\' it down by about 2am !!

It\'s summer here in San Francisco.

Which means it is really cold and super foggy!
:p

Yesterday is the first day in two weeks I actually saw the sun at my home!

@Shaz
Unfortunately, no.
However, we are having a relatively mild summer. It usually gets about 106 F here and with the humidity and heat index it feels like 115 F. So to do a few conversions, it normally is about 41.1 C and feels like 46.1 C.

And people wonder why I enjoyed the Persian Gulf, it was actually more comfortable. lollol

That dpends on the time of year that you are there:D

It can be hot and very humid around August, September & October but then the humidity drops and all the flying beasties come out:(

Which means that one minute I\'m sat by the pool at the Seamans Mission enjoying a cold beer, the next I\'m in the pool trying to escape the damn things and some of those things are damn big:eek:
