Too old to play Warhammer?

GW shops haven\'t been the same since they stopped playing bolt thrower at full volume all day every day.

only the bravest juniors entered GW harrow or hammersmith.

I think modeling / painting is for anyone at any age group. I just turned 25 last monday and I don\'t feel any different towards the hobby as I did when I was 14. I like fantasy, I do not play the game as much, however now it is more about collecting / painting but I still enjoy it and that is all that matters

I\'m 28 and am sort of the ringleader of the 40K group at the local store. It helps that it is a FLGS and not a GW store, but most of the best 40K players are older than me.

I don\'t think you can ever get too old for something that you love.

I started playing miniature games when I was 16 (Fasa\'s Battletech). I\'m 38 and I still play. The last game I played was Blood Bowl. And despite the constant cheating from my opponent, I still found a way to have fun.

it\'s a very old nickname for warhammer mate, warmaster also gets known as warhamster because of the size of the figures.

Bah, 25 is still a baby. I\'ve got diapers to send if you do need them. Admittedly I\'m only 37, but I think it\'s the wife, kids, mortgage, etc... that weighs you down rather than a pure number.

Oh yes. I use it a lot in the shop to wind up some of the \"fanboys\".

Sadly I didn\'t coin the phrase, It was used a lot in Dragon magazine, as a tongue in cheek reference to Warhammer.
