This is one of my entries for Wyrd\'s Total Testosterone competition. It is the biggest thing I have ever done and it was fun, in a challenging way! :D I\'ve been waiting until my light tent arrived before posting pictures- it\'s made quite a difference to the ones I used in the competition. I wish I\'d bought one ages ago!

See going to Platoon Britannica wasn\'t a total whaste after all :D

I agree with Sam\' comment about moving the knights closer, I think this would have added a bit more impact to the story as well.

Right at point of impact? One lance bowed and the other shattering.

Not sure I\'d want to wear those helmates into battle - talk about whiplash.

Thanks all! :)

War Griffon: You were great! And look, I listened! :D

Re the distance: I thought about it, but due to the difficulty of repositioning the lances across the knight\'s bodies and the way they hold their arms made it too complicated. I thing GW knights\' arm positions are intended to have them holding their lances vertically. In the end I altered as much as I could, then put them far enough apart that their lance tips are lined up with the other knight\'s shield. If I do another one of these, it would be maybe with one lance hitting a shield and the other a helm.

Ah, GW and their comedy idea of heraldry! The red knight\'s helm is a three-headed dragon that I converted in a definite Song of Ice and Fire reference. However, I don\'t know how he\'d hold his head up if it was a real helm! lol

Edit: Any chance of a few votes? :~(
