As with all your works, there's so much enthusiasm and passion coming through it's unreal :)
I think the Toxic girl figure has been a bit of a victim of its own success - there have been so many versions of the damn thing, it's kind of diluted the effect.

However - I have to say this is without doubt the best one I've seen, and almost purely down to the astonishing base-work you've done. You've made it a diorama as opposed to just looking at a single figure, and it's a fantastic job.

You version is now my definitive one! It's going to be a terribly hard job for anyone to impress me with this figure now :)

Really well done!

You know, I read once that "mini painters strive to have the appearance of the mini being a flat painting". Paraphrasing of course, but you get my point.

Look at the picture again, and imagine that it is a flat painting on a canvas. And it works very well that way. Honestly, I find that a bit creepy. Congrats!

an you've fit some random shite on that base .. but it works forme no matter how big it is .. love the shoes.......there's no place like home .. even if home is a post apocalyptic future where the toxic atmosphere has destroyed the minds of the vulnerable and elevated those wih more capable minds to the ranks of toxic superpowered mutant girls.....

Yeh man :D the base being too big still works with this piece, it's the fact that the main bit of colour comes from the dress giving the same effect that was used in schlinders list when you see the young girls red dress whilst the film is black and white.

Yeah... the base is way too much, but i felt some kind of freedom doing it that way and somehow as i read through your comments (thanks a lot for your oppinion) it fits to the miniature... even there is really a lot of junk, haha...

Thanks again for your words!
Keep on happy painting!

Hi Jar,
realy nice work.
The Miniature looks a little lost on the massive base but it works.
